SEZ of Sei Mangkei Electricity
The main source of electrical energy in the Sei Mangkei Special Economic Zone (SEZ) distributed directly by PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero). With a capacity of 60 MVA, the Electrical Substation is managed directly by PT Kawasan Industri Nusantara (KINRA). PT Kawasan Industri Nusantara and PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) have collaborated to provide the best electricity distribution services for the tenants of Sei Mangkei SEZ.
Biogas Power Plant (BgPP) is the result of cooperation between PT Kawasan Industri Nusantara and PT Pertamina Power Indonesia (PPI) which is a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero). This BgPP is the first renewable energy supply infrastructure in the Sei Mangkei SEZ. With a generated electricity capacity of 2 x 1.2 MVA, this BgPP is the first step for Sei Mangkei SEZ in organizing a Green Industrial Zone.
As a commitment to implement environmentally-friendly industrial estates, PT Kawasan Industri Nusantara is also preparing NRE (New and Renewable Energy) as an energy source that is ready to support this commitment while at the same time meeting the operational needs of tenants in the area. One of them is by preparing SPP (Solar Power Plant) which will complement the energy sources in the area. By cooperating with PT Pertamina Power Indonesia, there is no need to doubt the quality of the energy to be distributed.
